WINE PON DI EDGE DANCE REVIEW

THUMBS UP !

The turn out was excellent! The sound system was fabulous, DJ Raindrop and DJ Wass had the place crazy, The bar sort out and bartenders busy like bees. The patrons were enjoying themselves. Promotion was excellent-based on the turn-out. We had no problem with the law as it relates to the 2:00am curfew. We had a good rapport with the officers that were present. The security was tight like a virgin, there was no violation.

We know everything was perfect, until the lights went out. There was no electricity for miles. However our patrons were determined not to leave. they stayed another hour hanging around and then eventually they left one by one. We had a special guest, DJ Sparks from "Dutty Fridays". He took the mic, so went the light.... Look out for the next SE Entertainment event.

Assassin
Dancehall's only deejay Assassin has been rampaging the dance halls of the Western world. In March, he has already done quite a few performances and has a very important one, coming up on Saturday, March 22.

"I'm heading to Tobago, and even though I've been in the business for five years and I've had hit songs over there, it's going to be
my first time performing in Trinidad and Tobago," Assassin stated excitedly. "But one advantage I have of making a good and lasting first impression is that I've now been doing this for five years so I'm closer to perfecting my craft."Assassin's appearance at Magnum's Follow Di Arrow on Saturday, March 1, has left many talking of his "superb" performance. The artiste is pleased with this review as he has invested great time and energy into his performance skills and delivery. "I've spent time studying it (his craft) to improve it and I always want to make each performance better than my last," he said.

The following Monday, March 3, he headed to Negril to entertain a different audience at Jam Fest/Spring Break 2008. "It was fun performing at Spring Break because it reminded me of performing in Europe. I have to bear in mind that our dialect isn't easy to understand so I had to slow it down a little so that they could hear what I was saying," Assassin said. He finished with a sly grin, "And it is true that what happens at Spring Break stays at Spring Break."

Texas had the opportunity of seeing Assassin live and direct on Friday, March 7, as he unleashed hit after hit after hit. He described the experience as "ahhh murder!" as it's been awhile since he has performed there. "Well, Texas hasn't seen me in three years; it's just a part of the world that we don't visit often. So from start to finish they were with me 'cause I've had quite a few hit songs since then," Assassin pointed out.

Assassin's next performance will be on Saturday, March 22 and will see him making his debut appearance in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He will be joined by fellow cohorts Richie Spice and Gyptian, and they'll combine their talents to rock the soca massive with the delectable beats of Reggae and Dancehall
